"Hey you! How dare you attack innocent people you freak!" I shouted, getting the monster's attention. The monster glared at me. "So who might you be?" The monster asked as it dropped its victim. "Well, I am, uh, Sailor Star, the champion of justice. I fight to protect innocent lives from wicked creatures like you." I said. I loved my speech.

"Oh really. Just show me how strong you are star girl." The monster demanded. Oh shit I'm in trouble. What attacks should I use? I don't even know any attacks. "Apollo, what do I do? What should I use?" I asked as the creepy monster approached me. "Use you Star Dust Mist attack to blind it." He said.

"Okay. STAR DUST MIST!" I shouted as I was shrouded in mist. "Where the hell are you? I'll find you star bitch!" It shouted. It started firing attacks at me. I dodged as much as I could. I fell flat on my ass. I quickly got up as dodged again. "Sailor Star use your Pretty Twilight attack."

I stopped in my tracks and stood firm and tall. I placed my hands in front of my body in a cupped position. "STAR PRETTY TWILIGHT" I shouted as a star shaped beam escaped from my hands. The monster screamed in agony as it was dusted.

I did it. I destroyed the monster. "That was great Sailor Star. You faced your first monster. I'm proud of you." Apollo said. "Thanks I'll try to be a great warrior!" I said as I smiled proudly. "Anyway your battle has just begun. The enemy is not an easy force to defeat. Just train harder and you'll be strong enough."

"I will. I kinda like being Sailor Star. Will I be the only fighter? I might need some allies." I asked. "There are more sailor scouts on this planet. They live in Japan." Apollo said. "JAPAN! THAT'S LIKE 1,000,000 MILES FROM HERE!" I freaked. "Eventually you must join them, but not now, you are not strong enough."

"How will I get to Japan? A kid like me can't get enough cash to go there." I asked. "When you get stronger, you will learn the Shooting Star Teleportation. That is instant speed that will get you there in microseconds." Apollo said. "Wow that's fast!" I exclaimed.

The next morning I actually woke up early. Apollo slept on my bureau. He looked cute that way. I got up and got my clothes and changed. I gently patted him on the head and left the room.

I walked to the bus stop and waited patiently. It came about 5 minutes later. I hopped on the bus and went to school. Luckily the day went extremely fast. I decided to go to the comic shop, whether Andrew was there or not!

I stepped into the air-conditioned shop. It was hot today so this really was a great relief. "Hey Jess!" a familiar male voice called. My face automatically became flushed. "Hi Andrew." I shyly said. He stood behind the counter and looked at me. "What are you getting? I think we got that book you wanted." He said. "Really. I'll go check." I said as I checked the shelves.

He drives me crazy, but in a good way. I've liked him since last year when I discovered this store by accident. When I first met him, he had beautiful curly black hair, but now he dyed his hair a light blue color. I still like him, no matter what color his hair may be.

"Hi Andrew!" A girl's voice called. I turned around to see an unfamiliar girl with my crush. She had dark brown hair and green eyes. My heart was torn in half when he kissed her. I wanted to die right here in the store. I stormed out of store without saying anything.

I was crushed. My heart felt like it was ripped into dozens of pieces. When I went home and dashed to my room. "Hi Jess. How was school?" Apollo asked. "Leave me alone!" I coldly said. "What's wrong with you?"

"He has a girlfriend. I don't believe it!" I cried as Apollo crawled on my lap. "Who has a girlfriend?" "My crush Andrew. I really believed he liked me, but now I know it's not true." I said in between sobs. "Don't worry. There are plenty of human males on this planet that would kill to be with you. I promise you that." Apollo said. His voice sounded really promising.

"I hope you're right. I need someone to love. He must be special, not just some guy off the street. Anyway my mission is more important than any silly guy." I said, wiping my tears. "I need to go food shopping. Wanna come with me?" I asked. The cat bounced on my shoulder and I walked outside.

"I made a list this morning and forgot about it." I said. "I'm hungry. I want some tuna." Apollo whined. "Hush. Don't talk in the store. They'll think I'm some sort of nut." "I don't care if anyone calls you a nut. I still think you're a great person." Apollo smirked. "Oh shut the hell up you fuzz ball." I fumed at my cat guardian.

"I'm only playing with you. Don't be so harsh." The cat frowned. We were 3 feet away from the grocery store, when I sensed something. "Apollo I feel an evil aura nearby. I think it's coming from the store." I said. "That's a good sign that you are able to sense the enemy." Apollo said.

I was right. I saw a monster that looked like a huge banana with a strawberry head and kiwi legs. "That's one freaky monster." I said, trying not to laugh. "Stop laughing and transform." Apollo said. "Right. STAR POWER MAKE UP!" I shouted holding my pen up.

I became Sailor Star and charged into the store. The freaky monster was firing fruit bombs in the store. "Hey you funky fruit salad! How dare you use food as weapons? It's not right to waste good foods. I'll punish you in the name of the stars. I'm Sailor Star." I said proudly.

"Sailor Star huh? I'll send you to the stars." The monster said as it fired a coconut bomb at me. I dodged it quickly and attacked. "STAR DUST MIST! COVER THIS MONSTER WITH A STAR FOG!" I shouted. A huge fog covered the entire store.

Then the fog quickly disappeared. A man with short blond hair stood in front of the monster. His eyes were icy cold. "You think you sailor brats will destroy us. You must be kidding." He said. "Who are you and what do you want?" I demanded. "I am Jadeite, general from the Dark Kingdom. I know your little friend Sailor Moon and I will get rid of you first." He said as he approached me.

I went into a fighting stance. 'Who is Sailor Moon?' On to Chapter Three.
